Just tried this place for the first time! I ordered a matcha latte with oat milk. The matcha was super good! A little grainy towards the end which can happen sometimes if not frothed enough. Will be back!
Used to love coming to this coffee shop pre-pandemic to do work, study, or meet up with friends. Always clean, tastes good, friendly workers, and enough tablets/outlets to get work done. Just came here for the first time since then to grab a mocha this Saturday morning. It was great and the guy working was super friendly as always. I especially like how they moved the counter to the entrance of the store - makes it easier and safer so everyone stays outside. I do think they should enforce social distancing a bit more because it seems like people were eating/drinking (so no masks naturally) within a few feet of each other on their otherwise great patio area. It didn't help that they have like 4 tables set up on the sidewalk, so then for people waiting for their order it's VERY crowded and putting many people at risk as they eat. They should remove those tables from the sidewalk so there's more space for people to safely distance because this was not it. It could just be I was there at a very busy time and i do love this little coffee shop, but would be great to see some precautions taken in that regard. Still adore this place and definitely recommend it!!
The Coffee Shop (WC and Veranda location) was my go to place for avocado toast and an iced dirty chai. We recently visited and they changed the recipe for their chai. They now use a chai syrup so thick you can't even drink it out the straw. Yikes! Won't be ordering that again. Will still come here for the avocado smash and outdoor seating! The staff is always friendly and will not hesitate to change your order if you don't like it.
I love that this coffee shop has outdoor seating and a cute parklet right out front to enjoy your morning coffee while catching up with a friend! I came at 11:40am on a Saturday and there was a long line so I decided to order via their mobile app. You can download the Coffee Shop app if you search "CoffeeShop411" in the App Store and place a mobile order to avoid the long line and wait. One thing to note: I ordered the Iced Coconut Orange latte on the app but it showed up as just a regular iced latte when I finished checking out. I thought that the details of the latte were hidden so I didn't think much of it, but unfortunately it ended up being just a regular iced latte. Slight disappointment but be sure to double check that your order is correct before placing it! The regular iced latte was still good but I was most excited to try their popular Iced Coconut Orange latte. I will be back to try it when I'm in the area! Side note: They also have homemade pastries and avocado toast!
I tried this place for the first time recently and got their iced peppermint mocha drink. It was super tasty and had a strong peppermint taste. Even after all the ice was gone, the drink did not taste watered down in any way. A friend described the drink as if it was like eating an Andes mint chocolate and I'd have to say that's a pretty accurate description haha
